Materials

• Sport weight yarn in Brown, Light Beige, Red, White, Yellow, Blue, and Black

Using Brown yarn:

• R6-11: sc around (30)
• R12: (3 sc, dec) x6 (24)
• R13: (2 sc, dec) x6 (18)
• Insert safety eyes between R9 and R10, about 5 sts apart. Stuff firmly.
• R14: (1 sc, dec) x6 (12)
• R15: 6 dec (6). Fasten off and weave in ends.

Face Patch:

Using Light Beige yarn:

• Ch 5, starting in 2nd ch from hook: 3 sc, 3 sc in last ch. Turn to work on opposite side of the chain: 2 sc, inc (10)
• R2: inc, 2 sc, 3 inc, 2 sc, 2 inc (16). Fasten off, leaving a long tail. Sew to the head between the eyes. Embroider muzzle and smile details using black thread.

Limbs (Make 2 Arms & 2 Legs):

Using Brown yarn:

• R2-8: sc around (6). Fasten off.
• For legs: add 2 rounds of blue/yellow/red stripes at the bottom, finishing with black for the shoes.
• For arms: finish with 2 rounds of black for the hands.

Miniature Bicycle:

Wheels (Make 2):

• Using White yarn: R1: 6 sc in MR (6), R2: 6 inc (12).
• Change to Black yarn: R3: BLO (1 sc, inc) x6 (18). Fasten off. Embroider spoke details with white thread.

Bicycle Frame:

• Using Red yarn, crochet a series of tight chains around thin craft wire to create the frame structure:
• Chain 15 for the main triangle, join. Chain 8 for the handlebar stem.
• Using Yellow yarn: Chain 6 for handlebars.
• Assemble the bicycle frame by wrapping and securing the wire ends.

Assembly:

• Sew the head to the body. Attach arms and legs in active riding positions.
• Position the monkey onto the crocheted bicycle seat and secure the hands to the handlebars and feet to the pedals with small stitches.
• Crochet a tiny striped circus hat and sew it to the top of the head.
