Head & Body:

Using Light Brown yarn:

• Rnd 1: 6 sc in magic ring (6)
• Rnd 2: 6 inc (12)
• Rnd 3: (1 sc, inc) * 6 (18)
• Rnd 4: (2 sc, inc) * 6 (24)
• Rnd 5: (3 sc, inc) * 6 (30)
• Rnd 6-12: sc around (30)
• Rnd 13: (3 sc, dec) * 6 (24)

Insert safety eyes between rounds 8 and 9, leaving about 8 stitches apart. Stuff the head firmly.

Switch to Navy Blue yarn:

• Rnd 14: FLO (3 sc, inc) * 6 (30)
• Rnd 15-21: sc around (30)
• Rnd 22: BLO (3 sc, dec) * 6 (24)

Switch to Light Brown yarn:

• Rnd 23: BLO sc around (24)
• Rnd 24: To make the legs, divide the stitches into two sections of 10 stitches each (leaving 2 stitches in the middle on both sides). Join and crochet in a circle of 10 sc for 3 rounds to form each leg. Stuff the legs and body before closing. Dec around and sew closed.

Hood:

Using Navy Blue yarn, worked in flat rows to form the hood opening:

• Fold the rectangle in half and sew the back seam together to form a hood. Sew the bottom of the hood around the neck joint of the body.

Switch to Navy Blue yarn:

• Fasten off, leaving a long tail. Sew the arms to the sides of the hoodie.

Ears (Make 2):

Using Light Brown yarn:

• Rnd 1: 6 sc in magic ring (do not pull into a complete circle, keep it semi-circular). Fasten off and sew to the top sides of the head.

Details & Assembly:

• Use white yarn to embroider a small athletic swoosh on the chest of the hoodie.
• Thread a piece of white yarn through the neck of the hoodie to act as the hood drawstring.
• With black embroidery floss, stitch the characteristic flat nose, snout line, and small expressive eyebrows.
