Materials

• Sport weight cotton yarn in Beige, White, Ginger/Orange, Grey, Pink, Yellow, Blue, and Green
• 2.0mm or 2.25mm crochet hook
• 6mm black safety eyes
• Polyester fiberfill stuffing
• Embroidery needle and black thread
• Keychain ring, mini bell, and metal charms
• Hot glue gun (optional for assembling flowers)

Mini Basket (Beige Yarn):

• Rnd 1: 6 sc in MR (6)
• Rnd 2: inc in each st around (12)
• Rnd 3: (1 sc, inc) x 6 (18)
• Rnd 4: (2 sc, inc) x 6 (24)
• Rnd 5: (3 sc, inc) x 6 (30)
• Rnd 6: BLO, sc around (30)
• Rnds 7-12: sc around (30)
• Do not fasten off. Chain 35 to create the handle, and attach to the opposite side of the basket with a slip stitch. Fasten off and weave in ends.

Calico Cat Head & Body:

• Start with White, Orange, and Grey yarn, alternating colors on the head to create calico spots.
• Rnd 1: 6 sc in MR (6)
• Rnd 2: inc in each st around (12)
• Rnd 3: (1 sc, inc) x 6 (18)
• Rnd 4: (2 sc, inc) x 6 (24)
• Rnds 5-9: sc around (24)
• Insert safety eyes between Rnds 7 and 8, about 5 sts apart. Embroider a tiny pink nose and black whiskers.

Paws (Make 2 – White):

Mini Flowers & Leaves:

• Flowers (various colors): In a MR, crochet (ch 2, 1 dc, ch 2, sl st) 5 times to make 5 petals. Pull tight and fasten off.
• Leaves (Green): ch 4, sl st in 2nd ch from hook, 1 sc, sl st in last ch. Fasten off.

Assembly:

• Place the cat inside the basket. Secure with a bit of hot glue or stitch it in place.
• Sew or glue the mini flowers and leaves around the rim of the basket.
