Crochet Pattern: Christmas Donald Duck Amigurumi

Materials

Beak (Yellow yarn)

Lightly stuff and shape. FO, leaving a long tail for sewing.

Mouth Interior (Orange yarn): Ch 5, sc in 2nd ch from hook, 2 sc, 3 sc in last ch, 2 sc, sl st. FO. Sew inside beak.

Tongue (Pink yarn): Ch 3, sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc. FO. Sew inside mouth interior.

Sew beak onto the face, centered below the eyes, around R9-R13 of the head.

Hat (Blue yarn)

Start stuffing firmly. FO, leaving a long tail for sewing.

Collar (White yarn): Ch 20, sl st to first ch to form a ring. Sc in each ch around. Sl st to join. Ch 1, work (sc, inc) around, or (sc, ch 1, sc in next st) in every few stitches to create a slight ruffle. FO. Sew around the neck opening of the body.

Bottom Trim (White yarn): Attach white yarn to the bottom edge of R8 of the body (just below the belt position in the image). Work 1 round of sc around, then 1 round of (sc, inc) or (sc, ch 1, sc in next st) to create a slight ruffled trim. FO.

Belt (Black yarn): Ch 30 (adjust length to fit around R10-R11 of body), sl st into first ch to form a loop. Sc in each ch around for 2 rounds. FO. Or, embroider a black band around R10-R11 of the body using surface crochet/yarn. Position centrally.

Buckle (Yellow yarn): Ch 5. Sc in 2nd ch from hook, 3 sc. Ch 1, turn. 4 sc. Repeat for 2 more rows. FO, leaving a tail. Fold into a rectangle and stitch edges, or make two small rectangles and sew them together. Sew onto the center of the black belt.

Arms (Make 2)

Hand (Blue yarn):

R1: 6 sc in MR [6]

R2: (inc) x6 [12]

R3-R5: sc in each st around [12] (3 rounds)

Lightly stuff the hand part.

Cuff (White yarn):

R6-R7: sc in each st around [12] (2 rounds)

Arm (Red yarn):

R8-R14: sc in each st around [12] (7 rounds)

Stuff the arm lightly. FO, leaving a long tail for sewing. Flatten the top and sew to the sides of the body, just below the collar.

Legs (Make 2 – Yellow yarn)

Foot:

R1: Ch 7. Sc in 2nd ch from hook, 4 sc, 3 sc in last ch. Continue on other side of chain: 4 sc, 2 sc in last st [14]

R2: inc, 4 sc, inc x3, 4 sc, inc x2 [20]

R3: sc in each st around [20]

R4: 6 sc, dec x4, 6 sc [16]

R5: 4 sc, dec x4, 4 sc [12]

Start stuffing the foot firmly, shaping the toes.

Leg:

R6-R12: sc in each st around [12] (7 rounds)

Continue stuffing the leg. FO, leaving a long tail for sewing. Sew to the bottom of the body, evenly spaced.

Assembly

1. Sew the Head to the top of the Body, ensuring it’s centered and secure.

2. Sew the Arms to the sides of the Body, just below the collar.

3. Sew the Legs to the bottom of the Body, ensuring the feet face forward and the figure stands evenly.

4. Weave in all remaining loose ends securely.
