Materials

• Sport weight cotton yarn in Lime Green, Cream, and Light Pink
• 2.5 mm crochet hook
• Two 8mm black safety eyes

Main Body (Green Yarn):

R3: (1 sc, inc) x 6 (18)

R7-15: sc around (36)

Eye Bumps (Make 2 in Green Yarn):

Insert an 8mm safety eye between R3 and R4. If you want the white outline effect, stitch a small white circle of felt or yarn behind the safety eye before securing the washer. Fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing onto the top of the body.

Cream Belly (Cream Yarn):

R1: MR, 6 sc (6)

R2: 6 inc (12)

R3: (1 sc, inc) x 6 (18)

R4: (2 sc, inc) x 6 (24). Fasten off with a sl st, leaving a long tail for assembly.

Arms & Legs (Directly Attached):

For the arms: Join green yarn to the side of the body at R10. Ch 4, starting in the 2nd ch from the hook, work 3 sl st back toward the body. Fasten off and weave in ends. Repeat on the opposite side.

For the legs: Join green yarn at the bottom of the body (R4). Ch 3, work a 2-dc bobble stitch in the first chain, then sl st back to the body. Fasten off and weave in ends. Repeat for the second leg.

Assembly and Details:

• Sew the Cream Belly onto the center front of the body (covering rounds 6 to 13).
• Sew the two eye bumps securely to the top of the head (rounds 16 to 19).
• Using black embroidery floss, stitch a tiny ‘V’ shape for the mouth in the center of the face, just above the belly.
• Using pink yarn, embroider small horizontal stitches directly under the eye bumps to create the rosy cheeks.
• Attach the keychain metal ring to the top center of the head.
