Materials

• Worsted weight yarn in Cream/Off-white (main color)
• Worsted weight yarn in Light Brown/Beige (contrast color)

• Worsted weight yarn in Red (for flower petals)
• Worsted weight yarn in Yellow (for flower center)
• Black embroidery floss
• 2 x 6mm safety eyes
• 3.0mm crochet hook (or hook size to achieve tight fabric)
• Stuffing (polyester fiberfill)
• Tapestry needle

• Start stuffing firmly.

Snout (Light Brown/Beige)

• Ch 4.

• R3: sc around (12)
• FO, leave a long tail for sewing. Lightly stuff and flatten slightly.

Ears (Make 2)

• Outer Ear (Cream/Off-white): Ch 6. Sc in 2nd ch from hook, hdc, dc, hdc, sc. FO, leave a long tail.
• Inner Ear (Light Brown/Beige): Ch 4. Sc in 2nd ch from hook, hdc, sc. FO, weave in ends.
• Sew the inner ear onto the outer ear. Pinch the bottom of the outer ear together and sew to secure its shape.

Legs/Feet (Make 4)

• With Light Brown/Beige yarn:
• R1: 6 sc in MR (6)
• R2: sc around (6)
• Switch to Cream/Off-white yarn:
• R3-R4: sc around (2 rounds) (6)
• FO, leave a long tail for sewing. Stuff lightly.

Tail (Cream/Off-white)

• R1: 6 sc in MR (6)
• R2: (sc, inc) x3 (9)
• R3: (sc, dec) x3 (6)
• Stuff lightly. FO, leave a long tail for sewing.

Rainbow Blanket

• Ch 15.
• Row 1 (Purple): Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across (14 sc). Ch 1, turn.
• Row 2 (Purple): Sc across (14 sc). FO.
• Row 3 (Blue): Attach blue yarn. Ch 1, sc across (14 sc). Ch 1, turn.
• Row 4 (Blue): Sc across (14 sc). FO.
• Repeat Rows 3-4 for Green, Yellow, Orange, and Red. You will have 2 rows of each color.
• Weave in all ends.

Flower

• Petals (Red): Make 5 sc in MR. Sl st into first sc. *Ch 2, 2 dc in same sc, ch 2, sl st in same sc*. Repeat from * to * for each of the 5 sc, forming petals. FO.
• Center (Yellow): Make 5 sc in MR. Sl st to join. FO.
• Sew the yellow center onto the red petals.

Assembly

1. Sew the Head to the top of the Body.
2. Position and sew the Snout onto the Head, just below the safety eyes.
3. Using black embroidery floss, embroider an inverted ‘Y’ for the nose on the snout, and a straight line for the mouth just below it.
4. Sew the Ears to the top sides of the head.
5. Sew the Legs/Feet to the underside of the body.
6. Sew the Tail to the back of the body.
7. Carefully sew the Rainbow Blanket to the back of the llama.
8. Sew the Flower onto the side of the llama’s head.
9. Weave in all remaining loose ends.
