Materials

• Worsted weight or DK yarn in: Beige (skin tone), Black, Red, White, Green.
• Crochet Hook: 2.5mm – 3.0mm (or size suitable for your yarn to achieve tight stitches).
• Safety Eyes: 6mm – 8mm (or black yarn for embroidery).
• Polyester fiberfill for stuffing.

FO, leaving a long tail. Weave the tail around the middle of the rectangle to cinch it into a bow shape. Secure. Use white yarn to embroider small polka dots on the bow. Sew onto the Santa hat, slightly off-center over one ear.

Scarf (Green yarn)

Row 1: Ch 45.

Row 2: Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across (44)

Row 3: Ch 1, turn. Sc in each st across (44)

FO. Tie around Minnie’s neck.

White Collar Trim (Optional, White yarn)

Attach white yarn to the top edge of the body/dress (Rnd 5 or 6 of body). Ch 1, then sc in each stitch around the neck opening. Sl st to join. FO.

Assembly

Sew the head to the body securely.

Sew the ears to the sides of the head.

Sew the nose onto the head, centered between the eyes.

Sew the arms to the sides of the body, just below the collar trim.

Sew the legs to the underside of the body, positioning them so they are mostly hidden by the dress flare.

Sew the Santa hat with its pompom onto the head, slightly tilted.

Sew the red polka dot bow onto the Santa hat.

Tie the green scarf around Minnie’s neck.
