Materials

• Sport weight cotton yarn (4-ply) in Beige (skin), Pale Yellow (hair), Light Pink (dress & wand), White (shoes & dress trim), and Gold/Metallic Yellow
• 2.0 mm crochet hook
• 6 mm safety eyes
• Polyester fiberfill stuffing
• Embroidery needle and black thread for eyelashes/eyebrows
• Miniature pearls, pink blush, and a keychain ring clasp

Abbreviations

• MR – Magic Ring
• sc – single crochet
• inc – increase (2 sc in one stitch)
• dec – decrease (sc 2 together)
• ch – chain
• sl st – slip stitch
• dc – double crochet
• BLO – back loops only
• FLO – front loops only

Instructions

Head & Body (Worked in one piece from bottom to top)

Using White yarn (starting with legs):

• Rnd 1: MR, 6 sc (6)
• Rnd 2: (1 sc, inc) x 3 (9)
• Rnd 3-5: sc in each st around (9). Fasten off first leg. Repeat for second leg, but do not cut yarn. Join legs together with a ch 2, then continue to Body.

Change to Pink yarn for the Dress:

• Rnd 6-12: Join legs and work around both legs and chain spaces, total 22 sc. Work in rounds to build the waist.
• Rnd 13: In BLO, sc in each st around (22). (You will join the skirt to the FLO of this round later).
• Rnd 14-16: sc in each st around (22). Stuff firmly.
• Rnd 17: (2 sc, dec) x 5, 2 sc (17)
• Rnd 18: (1 sc, dec) x 5, 2 sc (12)

Change to Beige (skin tone) for the Head:

• Rnd 19: (inc) x 12 (24)
• Rnd 20: (3 sc, inc) x 6 (30)
• Rnd 21: (4 sc, inc) x 6 (36)
• Rnd 22-28: sc in each st around (36)
• Note: Insert 6mm safety eyes between rounds 24 and 25, leaving 6 stitches in between.
• Rnd 29: (4 sc, dec) x 6 (30)
• Rnd 30: (3 sc, dec) x 6 (24)
• Rnd 31: (2 sc, dec) x 6 (18)
• Rnd 32: (1 sc, dec) x 6 (12)
• Rnd 33: dec x 6 (6). Fasten off and weave in ends.

Dress Skirt (Attach to FLO of Rnd 13 of the body):

• Using Pink yarn, attach to front loops of Rnd 13:
• Rnd 1: (ch 2, dc inc in each st around), sl st to join.
• Rnd 2: ch 2, dc in each st around, sl st to join.
• Change to White yarn for ruffle trim:
• Rnd 3: (ch 3, sl st in next st) repeat around to create a delicate lace border. Fasten off.

Hair Wig Cap (Using Pale Yellow yarn):

• Rnd 1: MR, 6 sc (6)
• Rnd 2: inc in each st around (12)
• Rnd 3: (1 sc, inc) x 6 (18)
• Rnd 4: (2 sc, inc) x 6 (24)
• Rnd 5: (3 sc, inc) x 6 (30)
• Rnd 6: (4 sc, inc) x 6 (36)
• Rnd 7-12: sc in each st around (36).
• To make the braids: Do not fasten off. Chain 20, turn and work 19 hdc back along the chain to make a strand. Secure to the side of the head with a sl st. Repeat on the opposite side. Braid the strands and secure with pink yarn or miniature rose embellishments as shown in the photo. Sew the hair cap securely onto the head.

Golden Crown (Using Metallic Gold thread/yarn):

• Ch 15, join with a sl st to form a ring.
• Rnd 1: sc in each ch around (15)
• Rnd 2: (sl st in next st, ch 3, sl st in the 2nd ch from hook, sl st in the 3rd ch from hook, sl st into next st of the base ring) repeat around to form the crown points. Fasten off, leaving a tail for sewing. Adorn with a mini pearl bead and sew onto the center top of the head.

Assembly & Details:

• Embroider delicate eyelashes and thin eyebrows with black sewing thread.
• Use pink blush on the cheeks just under the eyes.
• Sew on tiny crocheted arms (6 sc in a MR, worked for 5 rounds in beige) to the sides of the dress.
• Attach a secure keychain ring loop through the top of the doll’s head.
