Crochet Pattern: Adorable Crochet Puppy Dog Bracelet – Free Amigurumi Pattern

Materials

• Light Beige DK (or sport weight) yarn
• Light Blue DK (or sport weight) yarn
• Black embroidery floss
• 2.5mm crochet hook
• Yarn needle
• Scissors
• Small brown bead (approx. 6mm)

Instructions

Dog Head (Light Beige Yarn)

This will be worked flat as a small appliqué base.

• R1: Start with a MR, make 6 sc into the ring. (6 sts)
• R2: Inc in each st around. (12 sts)
• R3: (Sc in next st, inc in next st) x 6. (18 sts)
• Sl st to the first sc to join. Fo, leaving a long tail for sewing.

Ears (Make 2):

• Ch 3. Sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc in next ch. (2 sc)
• Fo, leaving a short tail for sewing.

Snout:

• Start with a MR, make 5 sc into the ring. (5 sts)
• Sl st to the first sc to join. Fo, leaving a long tail for sewing.

Assembly of Dog Head:

• Position the Snout in the lower center of the Head piece and sew it securely using the tail.
• Attach the two Ears to the top sides of the Head piece, shaping them slightly as you sew.
• Using black embroidery floss and a yarn needle, embroider two small eyes above the snout. You can use French knots or small straight stitches.
• Embroider a small inverted “V” or a triangle for the nose onto the snout using black embroidery floss.

Bracelet Band (Light Blue Yarn)

The band looks like a simple flat strip.

• Ch 4.
• Row 1: Sc in the 2nd ch from hook and in each remaining ch across. (3 sc)
• Row 2: Ch 1, turn. Sc in each sc across. (3 sc)
• Repeat Row 2 until your band measures approximately 6 inches (or desired wrist length, leaving room for the charm and closure). Fo.

Attaching the Dog Head and Closure:

• Center the finished Dog Head on the Bracelet Band and securely sew it onto the band using the long tail from the Head piece.
• On one end of the Bracelet Band, create a loop for the closure: Attach light blue yarn, Ch 5, sl st into the corner of the band to form a loop. Fo.
• On the opposite end of the Bracelet Band, securely sew the small brown bead. This bead will pass through the Ch 5 loop to fasten the bracelet.
