Facial Features (Embroidered on Head):

Using MC yarn, embroider two slightly curved lines for the eyebrows above where the eyes will be placed (approx. between R15-17).

For the eyes: Use OW yarn to embroider two large half-oval shapes for the sclera. Outline these with MC yarn to create the distinct eyelids. In the center of the OW part, embroider small horizontal lines or dots with DR yarn for the pupils/irises.

For the mouth: Embroider a wide, upward curving line for the top lip and a slightly larger, downward curving line for the bottom lip using MC yarn. Fill the area between the lips with R yarn to create the red inner mouth.

White Bottom Trim (W): Ch 25. Sc in 2nd ch from hook, 23 sc. FO, leaving a tail for sewing. Sew around the bottom of the red coat section of the body.

Buttons (Make 2 – W): 4 sc in MR. Sl st to join. FO, leaving a tail for sewing. Sew onto the front of the red coat section.

5. Place the Santa hat on Squidward’s head and secure with a few stitches if desired.
