Crochet Pattern: Hello Kitty Amigurumi Keychain

Materials

• White worsted weight yarn
• Red worsted weight yarn

Bow (Red yarn)

Ch 7.

R1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in next 5 ch. Ch 1, turn [6]

R2-R4: Sc in each st across. Ch 1, turn [6]

FO, leaving a long tail. Use the tail to cinch the middle of the crocheted rectangle tightly to form a bow shape. Wrap the tail around the center a few times to secure, then weave in ends.

Assembly

• Face: If safety eyes are not used, embroider two small oval eyes with black embroidery floss. Using yellow yarn, embroider a small oval nose in the center of the face, between the eyes. With black embroidery floss, embroider three small whiskers on each side of the face.
• Ears: Sew the ears to the top of the head, slightly to the sides, aligning with rounds 2-4 of the head.
• Arms: Sew the arms to the sides of the body, just below the “neck” line (where the head transitions to the body, around R18-R19 of the combined piece).
• Legs: Sew the legs to the bottom of the body, evenly spaced, around R25-R26 of the body section.
• Bow: Sew the red bow to the top left side of Hello Kitty’s head.
• Keychain: Attach your desired keychain hardware to the top center of the head.
