Materials

• Sport weight cotton yarn in Light Brown, Cream, and Light Pink
• Scraps of sport weight yarn in Blue, Yellow, and Green for bobbles

Instructions

Step 1: Bear Head (Light Brown Yarn)

• Round 1: Start with a MR, work 6 sc into the ring. (6 sts)
• Round 2: Work 1 inc in each stitch around. (12 sts)
• Round 3: *1 sc, 1 inc* repeat 6 times. (18 sts)
• Round 4: *2 sc, 1 inc* repeat 6 times. (24 sts)
• Round 5: *3 sc, 1 inc* repeat 6 times. (30 sts)
• Rounds 6-10: Work 1 sc in each stitch around. (30 sts)
• Insert safety eyes between Rounds 7 and 8, leaving about 5 stitches of space between them.
• Round 11: *3 sc, 1 dec* repeat 6 times. (24 sts)
• Round 12: *2 sc, 1 dec* repeat 6 times. (18 sts)
• Stuff the head firmly with fiberfill.
• Round 13: *1 sc, 1 dec* repeat 6 times. (12 sts)
• Round 14: Work 6 dec. (6 sts)
• Fasten off, weave in ends, and close the remaining opening.

Step 2: Snout (Cream Yarn)

• Round 1: Start with a MR, work 6 sc into the ring. Join with a sl st to the first sc and fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing.
• Using black embroidery floss, stitch a small triangular nose and a smiling mouth onto the snout.
• Sew the completed snout onto the front of the head, centered just below the eyes.

Step 3: Ears (Make 2 – Light Brown & Pink)

• Round 1: With Light Brown yarn, work 6 sc in a MR but do not join. (6 sts)
• Row 2: ch 1, turn. Work 1 inc in each stitch across. (12 sts) Fasten off, leaving a tail.
• Using Light Pink yarn, embroider a small inner ear circle on the front of each ear.

Step 4: Bracelet Band (Cream Yarn with Colorful Bobbles)

• Row 1: ch 41 (or adjust length to fit your wrist, plus 1 inch for overlap). sc in the second ch from hook and in each ch across. (40 sts)
• Row 2: ch 1, turn. Work sc across the row, inserting a 3-dc bobble stitch (bo) in contrasting colors (Blue, Yellow, Green) every 6th or 7th stitch to create a colorful dotted pattern. Carry the Cream yarn behind.
