Ears (Make 2, in Black):

Fold flat and sew to the sides of the head between Rnds 3 and 7.

Eye Patches (Make 2, in Black):

• Ch 4, start in 2nd ch from hook: sc, hdc, 3 hdc in last ch, turn to work along the opposite side of the chain: hdc, sc.

Fasten off, leaving a long tail. Place the safety eyes through the center of these patches before inserting them into the head between Rnds 9 and 10.

Muzzle (in White):

Sew the muzzle to the head between the eye patches. Embroider a tiny nose and mouth with black thread.

Arms (Make 2, in Black):

Fasten off. Sew the arms to the sides of the black body section.

Stuff lightly and sew to the bottom-front of the body.

Bamboo Stick (in Light Green):

• Ch 12, sl st in 2nd ch from hook and each remaining chain. To make leaves: Ch 4, sl st in 2nd ch, sc in next, sl st in next, then join back to the main stem. Fasten off and secure to the panda’s hands.
