Materials

• Fingering weight yarn in Light Gray, Soft Pink, and Red
• 1.5 mm crochet hook
• 2mm safety eyes or black embroidery floss
• Fiberfill stuffing

Instructions

Head:

Using Light Gray yarn:

• Rnd 1: MR, 4 sc (4)
• Rnd 2: [sc, inc] x2 (6)
• Rnd 3: [sc 2, inc] x2 (8)
• Rnd 4: [sc, inc] x4 (12)
• Rnd 5: [sc 2, inc] x4 (16)
• Rnd 6-8: sc in each st around (16)
• Rnd 9: [sc 2, dec] x4 (12)
• Stuff the head firmly with fiberfill.
• Rnd 10: [dec] x6 (6)

Fasten off, weave in ends, and leave a long tail for sewing.

Body:

Using Light Gray yarn:

• Rnd 1: MR, 6 sc (6)
• Rnd 2: [inc] x6 (12)
• Rnd 3: [sc, inc] x6 (18)
• Rnd 4-7: sc in each st around (18)
• Rnd 8: [sc, dec] x6 (12)
• Rnd 9-10: sc in each st around (12)
• Stuff the body firmly with fiberfill.

Fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing.

Ears (Make 2):

For each ear, make one inner ear in Pink and one outer ear in Gray:

• Inner Ear (Pink): MR, 5 sc. Fasten off.
• Outer Ear (Gray): MR, 5 sc. Do not fasten off. Place the pink circle on top of the gray circle and crochet through both layers around to join them together. Fasten off, leaving a long tail.

Arms and Legs (Make 4):

Using Light Gray yarn:

• Rnd 1: MR, 4 sc (4)
• Rnd 2-4: sc in each st around (4)

Fasten off, leaving a tail for assembly.

Tail:

Using Soft Pink yarn, join yarn to the lower back of the body, ch 10, then sl st back down the chain. Fasten off and secure ends.

Red Scarf:

Using Red yarn, ch 25. Starting in the second ch from hook, hdc in each chain across. Fasten off and weave in ends.

Assembly:

Sew the head to the body. Attach the ears securely to the top of the head. Sew the arms and legs to the sides and bottom of the body. Embroider the nose with Pink yarn and add the safety eyes or embroider small black eyes. Wrap the red scarf around the neck to complete your adorable miniature mouse!
