Hair Strands (Dark Brown yarn)

• Cut several strands of dark brown yarn (approx. 10-12 inches each). Attach them evenly around the bottom edge of the hair cap to form loose hair. Trim to desired length.

Hair Accents (Orange yarn)

• Cut 6-8 strands of orange yarn (approx. 8-10 inches each). Take 2-3 strands, twist them tightly together, then fold in half and let them twist back on themselves to form a braided look. Repeat for all strands.
• Carefully tie or sew these orange twisted strands around sections of the dark brown hair on each side of the doll’s head, as pictured.

Mouthpiece (Green yarn)

• Ch 6.

• FO, leaving a long tail for sewing. Sew onto the face horizontally.

Hair Accessory (Light Pink yarn)

• Ch 6, sl st to first ch to form a loop. Repeat to make a second small loop. Sew these two loops together to create a bow shape. Attach to the right side of the hair cap.

Kimono Collar & Obi

• White Collar: With white yarn, embroider a thin ‘V’ shape around the neck opening on the black kimono.
