Adorable Owl Crochet Backpack Pattern

Materials Needed:

• Yarn: Worsted weight in pink, white, beige, and black
• Crochet hook: Size G/4.0mm
• Yarn needle
• Scissors
• Stitch markers
• 2 large safety eyes or black buttons
• Fiberfill stuffing
• Backpack lining fabric (optional)
• Zipper or drawstring closure (optional)

Pattern:

1. Main Backpack Body (Pink)
   • Round 1: With pink yarn, make a magic ring, ch 1, and work 8 sc into the ring. Join with sl st. (8 sts)
   • Round 2: Ch 1, inc in each st around. Join with sl st. (16 sts)
   • Round 3: Ch 1, (sc, inc) around. Join with sl st. (24 sts)

2. Backpack Flap (Pink)

   • Rows 1-8: Ch 1, turn, sc across.
   • Fasten off and attach to the back of the backpack with sl st or sewing.
3. Straps (Pink)
   • Make 2 straps: Ch 80, sc in 2nd ch from hook and across.

     • Attach safety eyes or sew on black buttons in the center of each eye.
   • Beak (Beige)
