Materials

• Fingering weight yarn in White, Light Blue, Peach, Red, and Navy Blue

• Insert safety eyes between R7 and R8, about 4 stitches apart. Embroider a tiny smile between the eyes and pink cheeks on either side.

• Fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing. Place the finished Peach Head inside the helmet so the face looks out of the visor opening. (Optional: Glue a clear plastic dome over the face opening before securing).

Visor Trim (Light Blue Yarn):

• Join light blue yarn to any stitch around the visor opening.
• Work 1 round of sl st or sc evenly around the opening to create a clean, framed edge. Fasten off and weave in ends.

Helmet Knobs (Make 2 – White & Light Blue Yarn):

Arms (Make 2 – Start with Light Blue Yarn):

• Fasten off, leaving a tail. Sew to the sides of the body just below the neck.

Oxygen Tank / Backpack (White Yarn):

• R2-R6: 12 sc (5 rounds)
• Stuff lightly, flatten opening, and sew shut. Sew to the back of the astronaut.

Assembly & Details:

• Sew the body to the bottom of the helmet.
• Embroider details on the chest: Use Navy Blue and Red yarn to stitch a tiny rectangular flag, a blue star, and a small red button.
