Materials

• Fingering weight cotton yarn in Dark Brown, Light Beige, Olive Green, Rust Orange, and Cream

• Bronze jewelry findings: ribbon crimp ends, jump rings, lobster clasp, and extender chain

Instructions

Miniature Acorn Nut (Make 4 – Light Beige Yarn):

• Rnd 1: Start with a MR, work 6 sc into ring. (6 sts)
• Rnd 2: [1 sc, inc] repeat 3 times. (9 sts)
• Rnd 3 – 4: sc in each stitch around. (9 sts)
• Stuff the nut lightly with fiberfill.
• Rnd 5: [1 sc, dec] repeat 3 times. (6 sts)
• Fasten off, weave tail through remaining stitches, pull tight to close, and secure.

Acorn Cap (Make 4 – Dark Brown Yarn):

• Rnd 1: Start with a MR, work 6 sc into ring. (6 sts)
• Rnd 2: inc in each stitch around. (12 sts)
• Rnd 3: Working in BLO, sc in each stitch around. (12 sts)
• Rnd 4: Working in both loops, sc in each stitch around. Sl st to first stitch to join. (12 sts)
• Stem: ch 4, sl st in 2nd ch from hook and next 2 chains. Fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing.
• Sew the cap securely onto the beige nut. Repeat for all acorns (reserve one for the extender chain tail).

Oak Leaf Charm (Make 2 – Olive Green Yarn):

• ch 10.
• Row 1: Starting in the 2nd ch from hook, work: 1 sc, 1 hdc, 1 dc, 2 tr, 1 dc, 1 hdc, 1 sc. Work 3 sc into the last chain to turn the corner.
• Working down the opposite side of the chain: 1 sc, 1 hdc, 1 dc, 2 tr, 1 dc, 1 hdc, 1 sc. Sl st to first stitch to join.
• Stem: ch 3, sl st in 2nd ch from hook and next chain, sl st back into the base of the leaf. Fasten off and weave in ends.

Braided Bracelet Band:

• Cut 3 strands of 12-inch long yarn in Dark Brown, Cream, and Rust Orange.
• Knot them together at one end, secure them to a flat surface, and braid tightly until you reach your desired wrist size (approx. 5.5 to 6 inches).
• Tie a knot at the other end to secure the braid, trim the excess yarn closely, and secure both ends with bronze ribbon crimp findings.

Assembly:

• Using jewelry pliers, attach a jump ring through the stem of each crochet acorn and leaf, threading on a wooden bead before closing.
• Distribute the acorn and leaf charms symmetrically along the braided band, securing them with jump rings.
• Attach a lobster clasp to one crimped end of the bracelet and the extender chain to the other. Hang the remaining mini acorn at the end of the extender chain for a professional finish.
