Crochet Pattern: Festive Homer Simpson Amigurumi

Materials

• Worsted weight yarn in:
  • Yellow (A) – for head, nose, ears, hands
  • White (B) – for shirt, eyes, hat brim, pompom, scarf stripes
  • Blue (C) – for pants
  • Red (D) – for hat body, scarf stripes
  • Light Brown (E) – for muzzle
  • Dark Grey/Black (F) – for shoes, eye pupils (if embroidering)
• Crochet Hook: 3.0mm (or size to achieve tight stitches)
• Safety Eyes: 8-10mm black safety eyes (optional, can embroider instead)

Using Red yarn D, ch 4.

Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc 2 [3]

Row 2: Ch 1, turn, sc 3 [3]

Repeat Row 2, alternating colors every 2 rows (e.g., 2 rows Red, 2 rows White). Continue until scarf is approx. 30-40 cm (12-16 inches) long, or desired length to tie around neck.

FO and weave in ends.

Assembly:

1. Head to Body: Sew the head to the body firmly, ensuring it is centered and secure. Stuff the neck area well before fully closing.

2. Muzzle: Sew the light brown muzzle centered below the eyes on the head. Stuff lightly before completely closing.

3. Nose: Sew the yellow nose on top of the muzzle, centered.

4. Ears: Sew the ears to the sides of the head, roughly in line with the eyes.

5. Arms: Sew the arms to the sides of the body, just below the neck.

6. Scarf: Tie the scarf around Homer’s neck as shown in the image.

7. Santa Hat: Place the Santa hat on top of Homer’s head. You can stitch it in a few places to secure it if desired.
