FACIAL FEATURES

With black embroidery floss, embroider two small oval eyes between Rnd 9 and 10 of the head, about 4-5 stitches apart. Add a small white reflection in each eye with white yarn.
Embroider small eyebrows above the eyes with black floss.
Embroider a small smile below the nose with black floss.

With Light Beige Yarn, ch 5.
Row 1: sc in 2nd ch from hook and next 3 ch (4)

FO, leaving a long tail. Fold the square into a small cube shape and sew the edges together. With Red Yarn, wrap around the ‘gift’ to create a ribbon and tie a small bow on top. Sew to one of the elf’s hands.

CANDY CANE (Red & White Yarn)

With Red Yarn, ch 6.
Change to White Yarn, ch 6.
Twist the red and white chains together tightly. Shape into a candy cane. Alternatively, make a very small striped tube:
