Crochet Pattern: Charming Crochet Balcony Keychain Free Pattern

Materials

• Embroidery floss or Crochet Thread Size 80 in White, Beige, Light Brown, Green, and Pink
• 0.6mm or 0.75mm crochet hook
• Keychain ring and silver chain link
• A tiny piece of thin, stiff plastic or cardboard (for base reinforcement)
• Fiberfill or scrap yarn for stuffing the pots
• Embroidery needle and scissors

• ch – chain
• sc – single crochet
• hdc – half double crochet
• sl st – slip stitch
• inc – increase
• BLO – back loop only
• FLO – front loop only
• st(s) – stitch(es)

Instructions

Balcony Base (Beige):

Make a chain of 16 ch.

Row 1: Start in second ch from hook, sc in each st across, turn. (15 sts)

Rows 2-6: ch 1, sc in each st across, turn. (15 sts)

Round 7 (Wall Setup): ch 1, working in BLO around the entire rectangle to create a clean corner: sc 15 along the long side, sc 5 along the short side, sc 15 along the opposite long side, sc 5 along the last short side. Do not join, work in continuous rounds. (40 sts)

Rounds 8-10: sc in each st around. Fasten off. Insert a tiny rectangular piece of plastic or cardboard into the base to keep it flat and rectangular.

Ornate White Railing (White):

Attach White thread to the front FLO of the base edge.

Row 1: ch 1, sc across the front and side edges only (leave the back wall open for the high screen), turn.

Row 2 (Lace Pattern): ch 1, *sc in next st, ch 4, sl st back into the first ch (picot loop), sc in next st; repeat from * to create the decorative looped railing. Fasten off.

Back Grid Screen (White):

Attach White thread to the back edge of the base.

Row 1: ch 1, sc 15 across the back wall, turn.

Row 2-4: ch 1, *sc, ch 1, skip 1 st; repeat from * to create a grid look, turn.

Row 5: ch 1, sc in each st and ch space across. Fasten off.

Miniature Bench (Beige):

Seat: ch 7. Start in second ch, hdc 6, turn. Row 2: ch 1, hdc 6. Fasten off.

Backrest: Attach thread to the back of the seat, hdc 6. Fasten off. Fold slightly to form an L-shape and glue or sew lightly to hold its shape inside the balcony.

Flower Pots (Make 2 – Light Brown, Green, Pink):

Pot (Brown): Start with a magic ring. Round 1: 5 sc in ring. Round 2: BLO, sc in each st around. Round 3: sc in each st around. Fasten off, leaving a tail.

Leaves & Flowers (Green & Pink): Stuff the pot lightly. With Green thread, secure inside the pot and work (ch 3, sl st back in pot) 3 times to create tiny leaves. With Pink thread, make French knots or tiny 2-ch loops amongst the green leaves to represent blossoms.

Assembly & Keychain Attachment:

Position the tiny bench in the center of the balcony floor and sew securely. Place a flower pot on each side of the bench and stitch them to the base. Attach the keychain jump ring to the top center of the white back grid screen, ensuring it is secure and balanced.
