Materials

• Lace weight or fingering yarn in Beige (flesh tone), Brown, Light Green, Pink, Yellow, and Olive Green
• 1.25mm or 1.5mm crochet hook
• 4mm safety eyes or black embroidery thread
• Polyester fiberfill stuffing
• Glittery acetate sheet or stiff tulle for the wings
• Keychain ring and jewelry chain
• Pink blush for cheeks
• Tapestry needle and fabric glue

Instructions

Fairy Head (Beige Yarn):

• Round 1: 6 sc in MR (6)
• Round 2: 6 inc (12)
• Round 3: (1 sc, inc) x 6 (18)
• Round 4: (2 sc, inc) x 6 (24)
• Round 5-9: sc in each st around (24)
• Insert safety eyes between rounds 7 and 8, spaced 4 stitches apart. Begin stuffing.
• Round 10: (2 sc, dec) x 6 (18)
• Round 11: (1 sc, dec) x 6 (12)
• Round 12: 6 dec (6). Fasten off and leave a tail for sewing. Add pink blush to the cheeks.

Fairy Hair (Brown Yarn):

• Round 1: 6 sc in MR (6)
• Round 2: 6 inc (12)
• Round 3: (1 sc, inc) x 6 (18)
• Round 4: (2 sc, inc) x 6 (24)
• Round 5-8: sc in each st around (24)
• To create the bun: In a separate piece, work 6 sc in MR, then 6 inc (12), sc around for 2 rounds, stuff slightly and sew to the top of the hair. Sew hair piece to the head. Wrap embroidery thread around the bun base as a tiny decorative hair tie.

Fairy Arms and Legs (Beige & Green Yarn, make 2 of each):

• Arms: Start with Beige yarn. Work 4 sc in MR. Work 6 rounds of 4 sc. Fasten off.
• Legs: Start with Green yarn (shoes). Work 5 sc in MR. Work 1 round of 5 sc. Switch to Beige. Work 5 rounds of 5 sc. Fasten off.

Fairy Body & Dress (Green & Beige Yarn):

• Round 1: With Beige yarn, work 6 sc in MR (6)
• Round 2: 6 inc (12)
• Round 3-4: sc in each st around (12)
• Round 5: Switch to Light Green. Work in BLO, sc in each st around (12)
• Round 6-8: sc in each st around (12). Stuff body.
• Round 9: (1 sc, dec) x 4 (8). Fasten off.
• Dress Skirt: Attach Green yarn to the FLO of Round 5. Work (ch 2, 2 dc in same st, ch 2, sl st in next st) around to create a ruffled petal skirt look. Sew arms and legs to the body, then sew the head to the body.

Flower Cup Base (Pink, Yellow, and Olive Green Yarn):

• Flower Interior & Petals (Start with Yellow):

• Switch to Pink yarn.
• Round 7: Work in BLO, sc in each st around (36)
• Round 8-11: sc in each st around (36)
• Round 12 (Petal Edging): (ch 3, skip 1 st, hdc in next st, dc in next st, hdc in next st, ch 3, sl st in next st) around to form the scalloped petal edges.
• Outer Green Leaves (Olive Green): Attach green yarn to the bottom of the flower base (BLO of Round 6). Work (ch 5, hdc in second ch from hook, dc in next two chains, sl st back into the base) 5 times to form supporting leaves.

Assembly:

• Glue or sew the Fairy Doll securely inside the center of the Flower Cup.
• Cut two small wing shapes out of glittery acetate or stiff tulle, and glue them to the back of the fairy’s dress.
• Attach a keychain ring and chain to the top of the fairy’s hair bun.
