Instructions

Pillow Panels (Make 2): Using Cream yarn and the 4.5mm hook, chain 51. Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across, turn (50 sc). Row 2-60: Ch 1, sc in each st across, turn. Fasten off the first panel. After completing the second panel, do not fasten off; keep yarn attached for joining later.

Sunflower Center: Using Dark Brown yarn and the 3.5mm hook, begin with a magic ring. Round 1: 6 sc in ring, sl st to join. Round 2: Ch 1, *bo in next st, sc in same st* repeat around, sl st to join. Round 3: Ch 1, alternating bo and sc stitches while increasing in every other stitch around. Continue expanding the circle for 6 rounds total to create a dense, textured seed center, then fasten off.

Layered Sunflower Petals: Round 1 (Inner Petals): Join Golden Yellow yarn to the FLO of the outer edge of the brown center. *Ch 10, sl st in 2nd ch from hook, sc in next ch, hdc in next 2 ch, dc in next 3 ch, tr in next 2 ch, skip 2 stitches on the center, sl st into FLO of next stitch* repeat around.
