Materials

• Worsted weight yarn in Blue-Grey (main color)
• Worsted weight yarn in Black (for burners, oven interior)
• Worsted weight yarn in White (for oven border, knobs)
• 2.5mm or 3.0mm crochet hook (or size suitable for yarn)
• Yarn needle
• Stuffing (polyester fiberfill)
• Keychain ring and chain
• Stitch marker (optional)

Instructions

Stove Body (Blue-Grey Yarn)

• Rnd 1: Ch 11. Sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc in next 8 ch, 3 sc in last ch. Turn to work along the other side of the chain: sc in next 8 ch, 2 sc in last ch. (22 sts)
• Rnd 2: Sc in each st around. (22 sts)
• Rnd 3 (Work in BLO for a clean edge): Sc in each st around. (22 sts)
• Rnd 4-10: Sc in each st around. (22 sts for 7 rounds)
• Stuff the body firmly with fiberfill.
• Sl st to the next st. FO, leaving a long tail.
• Using the yarn needle, sew the top opening closed neatly. Stitch through corresponding stitches on opposite sides of the opening to create a flat, rectangular top. Weave in ends.

Backsplash (Blue-Grey Yarn)

After closing the top of the stove body, identify the back (the side where the initial 3 sc in the last ch was made). Count 6 stitches in the center of the top back edge. Attach blue-grey yarn to one of these stitches.

• Row 1: Ch 1, sc in the same st and next 5 sts. (6 sc)
• Row 2-3: Ch 1, turn, sc in each st across. (6 sc for 2 rows)
• FO, leaving a tail to weave in securely.

Burners (Make 4 – Black Yarn)

Using Black yarn:

• Rnd 1: 6 sc in a magic ring. Sl st to first sc to join. (6 sts)
• FO, leaving a long tail for sewing.
• Sew the four burners onto the flat top of the stove body, arranging them in two rows of two, slightly indented from the edges.

Oven Door Detail (White & Black Yarn)

• Using White yarn and a yarn needle, embroider a rectangle on the front of the stove body (centered horizontally and vertically on the lower half) for the oven door outline. Create a relatively thick white border.
• Using Black yarn and a yarn needle, fill in the center of the white embroidered rectangle to create the oven window. Ensure the black fill is slightly smaller than the white border.

Control Knobs (White Yarn)

• Using White yarn and a yarn needle, embroider four small French knots or small straight stitches on the front of the stove body, just above the oven door outline. Space them evenly across the front.

Finishing

• Attach the keychain ring securely to the top edge of the backsplash, or to the top center of the main stove body just behind the backsplash.
• Weave in all remaining loose ends.
