Materials

• Embroidery thread or size 80 tatting thread in Cream (walls), Light Brown (roof), Red, Blue, Dark Brown, White, and Green (interior details)
• 0.6 mm crochet hook (or size matching your thread)
• Fine embroidery needle and sewing thread
• Fabric stiffener or diluted white glue
• Tiny piece of toothpick or thin wire (for ladder support)

Instructions

Note: Work with tight, even tension. This project is created by making structural flat panels stiffened with fabric stiffener before assembly.

Back Wall:

• Row 1: Ch 16, starting in second ch from hook, sc 15, turn. (15 sts)
• Rows 2-15: Ch 1, sc 15, turn. (15 sts)
• Row 16 (Start Roof Peak): Ch 1, dec, sc 11, dec, turn. (13 sts)
• Row 17: Ch 1, sc 13, turn.

• Row 19: Ch 1, sc 11, turn.

Side Walls (Make 2):

Floor & Ceiling Dividers (Make 2):

The roof is worked as a single rectangular piece folded over the peak.

• Row 1: Ch 18, starting in second ch from hook, sc 17, turn. (17 sts)
• Row 2: Ch 1, working in FLO, sc 17, turn.
• Row 3: Ch 1, working in BLO, sc 17, turn.
• Repeat Rows 2-3 until the roof piece is long enough to drape over the roof peak and touch both side wall tops (approx. 32 rows). Fasten off.

Micro Bed (White & Blue Thread):

• Ch 8, sc 7 across for 6 rows in White (mattress).
• Join Blue/Red thread and work 3 rows of sc for the pillow/blanket fold-over.
• Stitch tiny colored squares on the blanket using sewing thread to simulate a quilt.

Tiny Wooden Ladder:

• Use two thin slivers of toothpick for the vertical rails.
• Glue tiny pieces of cream thread or thin wire across the rails to form rungs.

Step 1: Stiffening: Paint all flat crochet panels (walls, roof, floor dividers) with fabric stiffener or dilute glue. Pin them flat to dry completely. This is crucial to make the house rigid.

Step 2: Interior Setup: Before sewing the walls together, embroider a tiny door and window on the inside back wall. Glue the middle floor divider inside to create a two-story structure.

Step 3: Sewing the Shell: Whipstitch the side walls to the back wall, then attach the bottom floor and the middle floor divider. Finally, stitch the roof over the pitched top.

Step 4: Miniatures: Glue the micro bed and little accessories onto the upper floor. Position the ladder leading from the ground floor to the upper floor and glue in place.

Step 5: Keychain Attachment: Crochet a tiny chain of 5 sts with Cream thread at the peak of the roof, secure tightly, and attach your metal keychain ring.
