• Round 6: *4 sc, inc* x6 (36)
• Rounds 7-16: sc in each st around (36) (10 rounds)
• Round 17: *4 sc, dec* x6 (30)
• Round 18: *3 sc, dec* x6 (24)
• Insert safety eyes between Round 12 and 13, approximately 6-7 stitches apart. Begin stuffing firmly.

Assembly and Detailing

• Attach Ears: Position the ears on the top sides of the head, slightly forward from the center. Sew securely using the tail.
• Attach Feet: Sew the four feet to the bottom of the body, evenly spaced around the base.
• Embroider Nose and Mouth: With Dark Brown yarn and a tapestry needle, embroider a small inverted ‘Y’ shape for the nose and a short horizontal line below it for the mouth on the face, centered between the eyes.
• Attach Orange Disc: Sew the orange disc to the very top center of the capybara’s head.
