Materials

• Worsted weight yarn in: Medium Blue, Light Blue, Royal Blue, Lavender/Mauve, Red, White, Green, Brown, Gold (for star)
• Crochet Hook: 2.5mm or 3.0mm (or size to achieve tight fabric)

• Polyester fiberfill for stuffing

Assembly of Ears: Place inner ear onto outer ear. Using Royal Blue yarn, single crochet around the entire edge, joining the two pieces and creating the dark blue border. Leave a long tail for sewing to head. Fold the bottom edge of the ear slightly.

Nose (Royal Blue)

• White Ends (Make 2): Make two small white pom-poms (similar to the hat’s pom-pom) and attach one to each end of the scarf.

Christmas Tree

Tree (Green)

• Rnd 5: (2 sc, inc) x2 [8]
• Rnd 6: sc in each st around [8]

Trunk (Brown)

Gold Star: A small plastic or felt gold star can be hot-glued to the top of the tree.

Ornaments: Embroider small French knots with light blue/white embroidery floss, or sew on tiny beads for ornaments.

Assembly

1. Sew the Head to the Body, ensuring it is centered and securely attached.
2. Sew the Belly Patch to the front of the body with Light Blue yarn.
3. Sew the Arms to the sides of the Body, just below the neck.
4. Sew the Legs to the bottom of the Body.
5. Attach the Ears to the sides of the Head, bending them slightly forward as seen in the image. Use the long tails to sew them securely.
6. Sew the Nose onto the Light Blue muzzle area of the Head.
7. Place the Santa Hat on Stitch’s head, slightly tilted, and tack it down with a few stitches to secure.
8. Wrap the Scarf around Stitch’s neck and tack it in place if desired to prevent it from shifting.
9. Sew the Brown Trunk to the bottom of the Green Tree.
10. Attach the Gold Star to the top of the tree and add any desired small ornaments.
11. Stitch the finished Christmas Tree into one of Stitch’s hands.
