• Switch to Dark Brown Yarn:

Ears (Make 2 – Light Beige Yarn)

• Ch 12.
• R1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc in next 9 ch, 3 sc in last ch. Working down other side of chain: sc in next 9 ch, 2 sc in last ch (do not join) (24)

Nose (Light Beige Yarn)

Tunic/Vest (Darker Beige/Light Brown Yarn)

• Ch 25 (adjust the chain count to fit around the body comfortably if needed).
• R1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc across (24)
• R2-15: Ch 1, turn, sc across (24) (or until desired length, approximately 14-15 rows for a small tunic)
• FO. Do not seam. This piece will be draped open at the front. To create the ragged edge, gently pull out threads from the bottom edge of the tunic or make small cuts with scissors.

Assembly and Facial Features

1. Head & Body: Using the long tail from the head, sew the head securely to the top of the body.
2. Ears: Attach the ears to the sides of the head. Position them about 3-4 rounds down from the top of the head, folding them slightly at the base before sewing to give them dimension.
3. Nose: Sew the small nose piece to the center of the face, slightly below and between the eyes.
4. Arms: Sew the arms to the sides of the body, just below the neck.
5. Legs: Sew the legs to the bottom of the body. Ensure they are evenly spaced.
6. Tunic: Drape the tunic around the body, leaving the front open. You can stitch it lightly in place at the shoulders or simply let it hang freely.
7. Facial Details: Using black embroidery floss, embroider a small curved line for the mouth just below the nose. With pink embroidery floss, add a tiny blush line or circle under each eye for a soft effect.
