The Pot (Beige Yarn):

Work in continuous rounds.

R1: 6 sc in MR [6]
R2: [inc] x 6 [12]
R3: [sc, inc] x 6 [18]
R4: [2 sc, inc] x 6 [24]
R5-R9: sc in each st around (5 rounds) [24]
R10: [3 sc, dec] x 4, sc around remaining 8 stitches [20]
R11: sc in each st around [20]
R12: sl st in each st around for a neat finishing edge. FO, weave in end.

Stem with Leaves (Green Yarn – Make 2):

Ch 12 (adjust chain length to your desired stem height for the finished piece).
Starting from the 5th chain from your hook: [ch 3, sl st in 2nd ch from hook, sc in next ch, sl st back into the same chain on the main stem]. This completes your first leaf.
Skip 2 chains on the main stem. Repeat the leaf pattern: [ch 3, sl st in 2nd ch from hook, sc in next ch, sl st back into the same chain on the main stem]. This forms your second leaf.
Sl st down the remaining chains to the base of the stem. FO, leave a long tail for attaching.

The Flower (Yellow Yarn – Make 2):

R1: 5 sc in MR [5]
R2 (Petals): For each of the 5 sc stitches from R1, work the following: [ch 2, dc in the same stitch, ch 2, sl st in the same stitch]. Then sl st into the next sc stitch to prepare for the next petal. Repeat 5 times to form 5 petals.
FO, leave a long tail for sewing.

Assembly:

Thread the long tail of a stem onto your yarn needle. Insert the stem from the top opening of the pot, bringing the tail out through the bottom center of the pot. Repeat for the second stem, positioning them closely together in the center.
Secure the bases of the stems inside the pot by knotting the tails together or sewing them firmly into the bottom stitches of the pot. A tiny dab of fabric glue can also help secure them in place if desired.
Lightly stuff the pot if you want it to be firmer and hold its shape better.
