Crochet Hook Organizer Pattern

Crocheted Base:

1. Foundation Chain: Chain 61.
2. Row 1: Single crochet (sc) in the second chain from the hook and in each chain across. Turn. (60 stitches)
3. Rows 2-50: Chain 1, sc in each stitch across. Turn. Fasten off and weave in ends.

Fabric Pockets:

Large Fabric Pockets (Make 3):

1. Cut fabric pieces measuring 10 inches by 6 inches.
2. Fold each piece in half, right sides together, to form a 5×6 inch rectangle.
3. Sew along the two sides and bottom, leaving the top open. Turn right side out.
4. Fold the top edge down about 1/2 inch and sew to create a finished edge.

Small Fabric Pockets (Make 3):

1. Cut fabric pieces measuring 6 inches by 4 inches.
2. Fold each piece in half, right sides together, to form a 3×4 inch rectangle.
3. Sew along the two sides and bottom, leaving the top open. Turn right side out.
4. Fold the top edge down about 1/2 inch and sew to create a finished edge.

Crocheted Pockets (Make 3):

1. Foundation Chain: Chain 26.
2. Row 1: Sc in the second chain from the hook and in each chain across. Turn. (25 stitches)
3. Rows 2-20: Chain 1, sc in each stitch across. Turn. Fasten off and weave in ends.

Assembly:

1. Lay the crocheted base flat.
2. Position the large fabric pockets along the bottom of the base, evenly spaced. Sew the sides and bottom edges of the pockets to the base using a sewing needle and thread.
3. Position the small fabric pockets above the large pockets, evenly spaced. Sew the sides and bottom edges of the pockets to the base.
4. Position the crocheted pockets above the small fabric pockets, evenly spaced. Use a yarn needle and matching yarn to sew the sides and bottom edges of the pockets to the base.

Button Closure:

1. Sew buttons onto the top edge of the crocheted base, evenly spaced above each column of pockets.
2. Create button loops by attaching yarn to the top edge, chaining enough to loop over the button, and securing it back to the top edge. Fasten off and weave in ends.

Finishing Touches:

1. Decorate the pockets with additional buttons or appliqués as desired.
2. Weave in all remaining ends to ensure a neat finish.
