Instructions

Necklace Base (Color B – Cream)

Create a foundation chain of 120 chains (approx. 16-18 inches for a choker fit; adjust as desired).

• Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across. (119 sc)
• Row 2 (Main Band Body): Ch 1, turn. Sc in first st. *Ch 1, skip 1 st, sc in next st. Repeat from * across. (You should have approx. 60 sc and 59 ch-1 spaces).
• Row 3 (Top Edging): Ch 1, turn. Sl st in first sc. *(Sc, ch 2, sc) in next ch-1 space, sl st in next sc. Repeat from * across to create small scallops. FO.

Bottom Edging & Leaf Attachment Foundation (Color B – Cream)

Join Color B to the first sc of Row 1 (the *other* side of the starting chain).

• Row 1 (Bottom Edging): Ch 1, sc in same st. *Ch 3, skip 2 sts, sc in next st. Repeat from * across. (You will have approx. 40 ch-3 spaces for leaf attachment). FO.

Purple Leaves (Color A – Lavender)

Make 20 leaves (or enough to attach to every other ch-3 space).

• Ch 9.
• Sl st in 2nd ch from hook, sc in next ch, hdc in next ch, dc in next ch, tr in next ch, dc in next ch, hdc in next ch, sc in last ch. (7 stitches along one side).

Assembly

• Using a tapestry needle and matching yarn, carefully sew each Purple Leaf to every other ch-3 space along the bottom edge of the Necklace Base. Position them with the leaf tip pointing downwards and the base aligned with the ch-3 space.
• Next, sew each Cream Leaf to the remaining empty ch-3 spaces along the bottom edge of the Necklace Base, centering them between the purple leaves.
