Materials

Instructions

Flower (Make 5-7)

• Using Yellow yarn:

  1. Make a MR. Ch 1, work 5 sc into the MR. Join with a sl st to the first sc. Fasten off yellow yarn and weave in ends.

• Using White yarn:

  1. Join white yarn with a sl st into any sc around the yellow center.

  2. First Petal: Ch 2, work 2 dc into the same sc. Ch 2, sl st into the same sc. (First petal made)

  3. Sl st into the next sc.

  4. Second Petal: Ch 2, work 2 dc into the same sc. Ch 2, sl st into the same sc.

  5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 three more times to create a total of 5 petals. After the last petal, sl st into the base of the first petal to finish. Fasten off white yarn, leaving a long tail for sewing.

Leaf (Make 5-7)

• Using Light Green yarn:

  1. Ch 6.

  2. Sc in the 2nd ch from hook, hdc in the next ch, dc in the next ch, hdc in the next ch, sc in the last ch.

  3. Sl st back into the first sc of the row (the sc made into the 2nd ch from hook) to create a pointed tip and close the leaf shape. Fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing.
