Instructions

Sole Base (Green Yarn)

• Ch 8.
• Rnd 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc in next 5 ch, 4 sc in last ch. Work on other side of ch: sc in next 5 ch, 3 sc in last ch. Join with sl st to first sc. (18)
• Rnd 2: Ch 1, inc in first st, sc in next 5, inc in next 4 sts, sc in next 5, inc in next 3 sts. Join with sl st. (26)
• Rnd 3: Ch 1, sc in BLO around. Join with sl st. (26) Fasten off.

Cleat Border (Green Yarn)

• Attach Green yarn to any FLO of Rnd 2 of the Sole Base.
• Rnd 1: Ch 1, sl st in first FLO, *ch 1, sl st in next FLO*. Repeat from * around. Join with sl st to first sl st. (26 sl sts with ch 1 in between). Fasten off. Weave in ends.

Shoe Body (Red Yarn)

• Attach Red yarn to any st of Rnd 3 (BLO) of the Sole Base.
• Rnd 1: Ch 1, sc in each st around. Join with sl st. (26)
• Rnd 2-4: Ch 1, sc in each st around. Join with sl st. (26)

Collar Trim (White Yarn)

• Attach White yarn to any st of Rnd 7 of the Shoe Body.
• Rnd 1: Ch 1, sc in each st around. Join with sl st. Fasten off. Weave in ends.

Toe Cap (Green Yarn)

• MR, Ch 1, 6 sc in ring. (6)
• Rnd 1: Inc in each st around. (12)
• Rnd 2: (Sc in 1, inc) x 6. (18)
• Rnd 3: Sc in each st around. (18) Fasten off, leave a long tail for sewing.

Assembly

• Lightly stuff the Shoe Body with polyester fiberfill.
• Sew the green Toe Cap onto the front of the red Shoe Body, covering the decreased section slightly.

Laces (White Yarn)

• Ch 25-30 (adjust length as desired). Fasten off.
• Using a yarn needle, weave the chain through the top edge of the shoe opening, creating a criss-cross pattern similar to shoelaces. Tie a small bow.

Embroidery (Green Yarn)

• Star: Using green yarn and a yarn needle, embroider a five-point star on the side of the red shoe body. Refer to the image for placement.
• ‘MOROCCO’ Text: Using green yarn and a yarn needle, embroider the word ‘MOROCCO’ below the star.

Finishing

• Secure any open seams or loose ends with your yarn needle.
• Attach the keychain ring with swivel clasp to the top back (heel) of the shoe.
