Materials

• Crochet Thread/Fine Yarn (approx. 10g each) in: Bright Red/Orange (Color A), Light Green (Color B), Dark Green (Color C)

Instructions

Gauge: Not critical for this project, but aim for tight stitches to maintain shape.

Note: Work all components tightly to ensure they hold their shape.

Main Flower (Color A – Red/Orange)

Petal Section (Make 5):

• Row 1: Ch 5. Skip 1 ch, sc in next 2 ch, hdc in next ch, dc in last ch. Ch 1, turn.
• Row 2: Sl st in dc, sc in hdc, hdc in next sc, (hdc, dc) in last sc. FO, leaving a long tail for joining.

Once all 5 petals are made, sew them together at their base to form a flower shape.

Flower Center (Yellow Embroidery Floss)

Using yellow embroidery floss and a tapestry needle, embroider several small French knots or tiny straight stitches in the center of the assembled flower.

Leaves (Color B – Light Green, Make 3-4)

• Row 1: Ch 6. Skip 1 ch, sc in next ch, hdc in next 2 ch, sc in next ch, sl st in last ch. Ch 1, turn.
• Row 2: Working on the other side of the starting chain: Sl st in first st, sc in next ch, hdc in next 2 ch, sc in next ch, sl st in last st. FO, leaving a tail for joining.

Small Buds (Color B – Light Green, with Color A tip, Make 2-3)

These are tiny, closed buds.

• Round 1: With Color B, MR 4 sc. (4)
• Round 2: Sc in each st around. (4)
• Round 3: Change to Color A. Sc2tog twice. (2)
• Sl st, pull yarn through remaining 2 loops and tighten to close. FO, leaving a tail for joining.

Bracelet Band (Color C – Dark Green)

The length will depend on your wrist size. Measure your wrist and subtract the width of the flower.

• Row 1: Ch approximately 50-60 (or desired length for your wrist + 6 chains for the button loop).
• Row 2: Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across until you reach the last 5 chains.
• Button Loop: Ch 3, skip 2 ch, sc in next 2 ch. This creates a small loop.
• Row 3: Sl st back in each sc across the row to create a sturdy band. FO, leaving a tail at the opposite end for attaching the button.

Assembly

• Position the assembled flower centrally on the bracelet band. Stitch it securely in place using the tails.
• Arrange the leaves and buds around the flower, attaching them to the bracelet band and the base of the flower with your tapestry needle. Distribute them artistically as seen in the image.
• On the opposite end of the bracelet band (where you fastened off after Row 3), sew the small decorative button securely, ensuring it aligns with the button loop you created.
• Weave in all remaining ends neatly.
