Head (White Yarn):

Work in continuous rounds unless otherwise stated.

R1: 6 sc in MR. [6]

R2: (inc) x 6. [12]

Start stuffing firmly with polyester fiberfill.

Ears (White Yarn, Make 2):

Bow (Pink Yarn):

R1: ch 9. Sc in 2nd ch from hook, 7 sc. [8]

R2-R3: ch 1, turn, 8 sc. [8]

Fasten off, leaving a long tail. Use the tail to wrap tightly around the center of the rectangle several times to gather it into a bow shape. Secure with a knot and weave in ends.

Facial Features Embroidery:

Using black embroidery floss and a tapestry needle, embroider two small oval-shaped eyes on the head between rounds 9 and 10, approximately 5-6 stitches apart. Using yellow embroidery floss, embroider a small horizontal oval or line for the nose, centered between the eyes, around round 8 or 9. Using black embroidery floss, embroider three small lines on each side of the face, starting from the sides of the nose/eyes and pointing outwards, for the whiskers.

Assembly:

1. Sew the ears to the top sides of the head, positioning them slightly angled, approximately between rounds 2 and 4 of the head.

2. Sew the pink bow to the top of the head, slightly off-center to the viewer’s right (Kitty’s left ear).

3. Attach the keychain ring and chain to the very top center of the head, using a slip stitch or by sewing through a loop.
