Materials

• Small amount of Purple DK weight yarn
• Small amount of White DK weight yarn
• Small amount of Yellow DK weight yarn
• Small amount of Light Green DK weight yarn
• 2.5mm crochet hook (or size to achieve desired fabric density)

• 2 small wooden beads (approx. 6-8mm)

Instructions

Pansy Flower

• Yellow Center: With yellow yarn, create a MR. Ch 1, make 5 Sc into the MR. Pull tail to close ring. Sl st into the first Sc to join. Fasten off yellow yarn. (5 Sc)
• White Inner Circle: Join white yarn to any Sc. Ch 1, make 2 Sc in each St around. Sl st into the first Sc to join. Fasten off white yarn. (10 Sc)
• Purple Petals: Join purple yarn to any Sc from the white inner circle.
  • Petal 1: Ch 2, (Dc, Trc, Dc) in the next St. Ch 2, Sl st in the next St.
  • Petal 2: Ch 2, (Dc, Trc, Dc) in the next St. Ch 2, Sl st in the next St.
  • Petal 3: Ch 2, (Dc, Trc, Dc) in the next St. Ch 2, Sl st in the next St.
  • Petal 4: Ch 2, (Dc, Trc, Dc) in the next St. Ch 2, Sl st in the next St.
  • Petal 5: Ch 2, (Dc, Trc, Dc) in the next St. Ch 2, Sl st in the first St of Petal 1 (which would be the last unused Sc of the white circle).
  Sl st into the first Ch 2 space to join. Fasten off purple yarn, leaving a long tail for sewing. (5 Petals)

Leaves (Make 2)

• With light green yarn, Ch 5.
• Starting in the 2nd Ch from hook: Sl st, Sc in next Ch, Hdc in next Ch, Sl st in last Ch.
• Fasten off, leaving a tail for sewing.

Bracelet Band (Make 2 Cords)

• With light green yarn, Ch 2.
• Insert hook into the 2nd Ch from hook, Sc. (1 Sc)
• *Rotate your work 90 degrees clockwise. Insert hook under the single horizontal loop on the side of the Sc. Yarn over, pull up a loop (2 loops on hook). Yarn over, pull through both loops (Sc made).*
• Repeat from * until your cord measures approximately 15-20 cm (6-8 inches) or desired length for one side of your wrist, leaving extra for adjustment.
• Fasten off, leaving a long tail for assembly.

Assembly

• Weave in all ends on the flower and leaves, except for the long purple tail from the flower and the green tails from the leaves.
• Using the long purple tail, sew the two leaves onto the back of the flower, positioning them symmetrically behind two of the petals. Weave in green tails from the leaves.
• Attach one end of each crocheted cord to the back of the flower, ensuring they are securely fastened next to the leaves. Use the long tails from the cords for this, or additional light green yarn if tails are too short.
• Thread a wooden bead onto each loose end of the bracelet cords. Tie a knot after each bead to secure it.
• To wear, pull the two beaded ends through each other (similar to a friendship bracelet sliding knot) to adjust the fit.
