Materials

• Fingering weight or Size 10 crochet cotton thread in White and Light Beige
• Gold metallic embroidery floss or thread
• 1.5 mm crochet hook
• Tiny amount of polyester fiberfill
• Small wooden button (approx. 10mm)
• Yarn needle and scissors
• Black embroidery floss for closed eyes

Instructions

Head (Beige Yarn):

Rnd 1: In a MR, work 6 sc (6 sts)

Rnd 2: [inc] x 6 (12 sts)

Rnd 3-5: sc in each st around (12 sts)

Rnd 6: [dec] x 6 (6 sts). Stuff the head lightly with fiberfill and sew closed. Fasten off and weave in ends. Embroider two tiny closed eyes using black embroidery floss.

Hair & Halo (White & Gold Yarn):

Using White yarn: Rnd 1: In a MR, work 6 sc (6 sts). Rnd 2: [inc] x 6 (12 sts). Sl st to first st and fasten off, leaving a tail to sew this cap onto the top of the head.

Using Gold metallic thread: Join gold thread to any stitch on the white cap. Work [ch 2, sl st in next st] around to create a delicate gold halo effect. Fasten off and sew the completed cap onto the head.

Dress/Body (White Yarn):

Attach white yarn directly to the bottom center of the beige head.

Row 1: ch 3 (counts as dc), work 4 dc in the same base space, turn (5 sts)

Row 2: ch 3, dc in same st, dc in next 3 sts, 2 dc in last st, turn (7 sts)

Row 3: ch 3, dc in same st, dc in next 5 sts, 2 dc in last st, turn (9 sts)

Row 4: ch 3, dc in same st, dc in next 7 sts, 2 dc in last st (11 sts). Fasten off and weave in ends.

Wings (White Yarn – Make 2):

In a MR, work: ch 3, 3 dc, ch 3, sl st, ch 4, 3 tr, ch 4, sl st. Pull the magic ring tight to form a textured, scalloped wing. Fasten off, leaving a tail for assembly.

Arms (White Yarn):

Ch 12. Fasten off. Sew the middle of this chain to the back of the neck/shoulders. Bring the ends forward and sew the hands together over the center of the dress.

Bracelet Band & Assembly:

Step 1: Using White yarn, ch 45 (or adjust length to fit your wrist, ensuring you have enough length for a button overlap).

Step 2: Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each chain across until 5 chains remain. Ch 5 (this creates the button loop), and sl st to the very last chain. Fasten off and weave in ends.

Step 3: Sew the tiny wooden button to the opposite end of the band from the loop.

Step 4: Sew the two wings to the back of the angel’s body. Sew the entire angel securely to the center of the crocheted bracelet band.
