Materials

• Sport weight cotton yarn in Off-White (skin), White (dress/wings), and Metallic Gold (halo)
• 2.25 mm (Size B-1) crochet hook
• 4 mm safety eyes
• Black embroidery thread
• Pink cosmetic blush or pastel
• Polyester fiberfill stuffing
• Yarn needle, scissors, and stitch markers
• Gold lobster clasp keychain with jump ring

Instructions

Head (Using Off-White):

• R1: 6 sc in MR (6)
• R2: 6 inc (12)
• R3: (1 sc, inc) x 6 (18)
• R4: (2 sc, inc) x 6 (24)
• R5: (3 sc, inc) x 6 (30)
• R6-11: 30 sc (30)
• Note: Insert 4mm safety eyes between rounds 8 and 9, leaving about 5 stitches of space between them.
• R12: (3 sc, dec) x 6 (24)
• R13: (2 sc, dec) x 6 (18) – Begin stuffing the head firmly.
• R14: (1 sc, dec) x 6 (12)
• R15: 6 dec (6) – Fasten off, weave in the yarn end.

Dress/Body (Using White):

• R1: 6 sc in MR (6)
• R2: 6 inc (12)
• R3: (1 sc, inc) x 6 (18)
• R4: BLO 18 sc (18)
• R5-6: 18 sc (18)
• R7: (2 sc, inc) x 6 (24)
• R8-9: 24 sc (24)

• R13: FLO (ch 3, sl st in next stitch) repeat around to create a beautiful scalloped hem. Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing. Stuff the body firmly.

Wings (Using White – Make 2):

• Ch 6, start in the second chain from the hook: 1 sc, 1 hdc, 1 dc, 1 hdc, 1 sc. Turn.
• Ch 1, 5 sc across the top. To create the feathered wing tips: (ch 2, sl st in next stitch) 3 times. Fasten off and leave a tail for sewing.

Arms (Make 2):

• Start with Off-White:
• R1: 4 sc in MR (4)
• R2: 4 sc (4)
• Switch to White:
• R3-6: 4 sc (4) – Fasten off, leaving a tail. No stuffing needed.

Legs (Make 2 – Using Off-White):

• R1: 5 sc in MR (5)
• R2-3: 5 sc (5) – Fasten off, leaving a tail.

Halo (Using Metallic Gold):

• Ch 15, join with a sl st to the first chain to form a ring. Ch 1, 15 sl st around the ring. Fasten off and weave in the ends.

Assembly & Details:

• Sew the body to the bottom of the head.
• Attach the legs to the bottom of the dress, and the arms to the sides of the body just below the neck.
• Sew the wings flat onto the back of the angel’s dress.
• Stitch the golden halo on top of the head slightly tilted backward.
• Use black embroidery thread to stitch a simple, sweet smile and tiny nose. Use pink blush or pastel to gently color the cheeks.
• Create a hanging loop with white yarn through the top of the head, and attach your golden keychain clasp!
