Materials

• Worsted weight yarn in White
• Worsted weight yarn in Black
• Worsted weight yarn in Light Blue/Grey
• 2.5mm or 3.0mm crochet hook (or size suitable for your yarn)
• 9mm or 10mm safety eyes (optional, can embroider instead)
• Stuffing (fiberfill)
• Tapestry needle

Arms (Make 2)

Start with Black yarn (Glove)

• Switch to White yarn.
• R4-R9: sc in each st (9) – 6 rounds
• Stuff lightly. Flatten the opening and sc 4 across to close. FO, leaving a long tail for sewing.

Legs (Make 2)

Start with Black yarn (Boot)

• R1: MR 6 sc (6)
• R2: inc in each st (12)
• R3: (sc 1, inc) x6 (18)
• R4: sc in each st (18) in back loops only
• R5-R6: sc in each st (18) – 2 rounds
• R7: (sc 1, dec) x6 (12)
• Stuff the boot part. Switch to White yarn.
• R8-R13: sc in each st (12) – 6 rounds
• Stuff firmly. Flatten the opening and sc 5 across to close. FO, leaving a long tail for sewing.

Blaster (Black yarn)

• Body: Ch 6, sl st to first ch to form a ring. Sc 6 around for 4 rounds. FO.
• Muzzle: Ch 4. In 2nd ch from hook, sc 2, sc 1, sc 2. FO. Attach to one end of the body.
• Handle: Ch 3, sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc in next. Attach to the side of the body.

Assembly and Details

• Attach Head to Body: Sew the head to the body securely using the long tail from the body.
• Attach Arms: Sew the arms to the sides of the body, just below the neck, so they hang naturally.
• Attach Legs: Sew the legs to the bottom of the body. Make sure the Stormtrooper can stand or sit as desired.
• Helmet Details:
  • Using Black yarn, embroider the visor, mouth vent, and the outline around the head (chin strap, helmet band) as seen in the image.
  • Using Light Blue/Grey yarn, embroider the small vertical lines on the sides of the helmet.
• Body Details:
  • Using Black yarn, embroider thin lines for the belt and chest plate details onto the white body.
• Attach Blaster: Sew or glue the blaster to one of the Stormtrooper’s hands.

Weave in all remaining ends. Your Amigurumi Stormtrooper is complete!
