Type A: Pink Center / Green Border

Instructions for ONE Small Floral Square:

With Color A (center color):

Rnd 1 (Flower Center): Make a MR. Ch 2 (counts as 1st hdc). 2 hdc in MR. *Ch 2, 3 hdc in MR.* Rep from * to * 2 more times. Ch 2. Sl st to top of first Ch 2 to join. (4 groups of 3 hdc, 4 ch-2 spaces)

Rnd 2 (Petals): Sl st into next hdc and into the ch-2 space. In first ch-2 space: (sc, hdc, dc, hdc, sc). *In next ch-2 space: (sc, hdc, dc, hdc, sc).* Rep from * to * 2 more times. Sl st to first sc. FO Color A. (4 petals)

With Color B (border color):

Rnd 3 (Squaring): Join Color B with a sl st to the dc stitch at the peak of any petal. Ch 3 (counts as 1st dc). In the same dc st: (2 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) (first corner). Ch 1. Sk the next sc-hdc, sc into the sc between the two petals. Ch 1. *In the dc st at the peak of the next petal: (3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) (corner). Ch 1. Sk the next sc-hdc, sc into the sc between the two petals. Ch 1.* Rep from * to * 2 more times. Sl st to top of first Ch 3 to join. FO Color B.

Weave in all ends. Sew one small seed pearl securely to the center of each square.

Crochet Rose Motif (Make 1):

With Pale Pink yarn:

Row 1: Ch 30. Sc in 2nd ch from hook, hdc in next ch, dc in next ch, (tr in next ch, 2 tr in next ch) 3 times. (Dc in next ch, hdc in next ch, sc in next ch) 3 times. Sl st in last ch. FO, leaving a long tail for sewing.

Carefully roll the crocheted strip from the sc end, forming a spiral rose shape. Using the long tail and a sewing needle, stitch through the base of the rose to secure its shape.

With Light Green yarn:

Gently shape the green strip around the base of the pink rose to resemble leaves. Stitch it securely in place using the tail.

Sew one small seed pearl securely to the center of the pink rose.

Assembly:

Arrange your squares and the rose motif as desired, mimicking the image for placement. The necklace has a central rose, with squares branching out on either side.
