Instructions

Flower (Make 8 in Color A, 4 in Color B)

• Round 1: Start with a MR. Ch 2 (does not count as a st). Work (2 dc, ch 2, sl st) into MR 5 times. You should have 5 petals.
• Pull MR tight to close the center. Sl st to join to the first sl st. FO, leaving a long tail for sewing.

Small Leaf (Make 10 in Color A, 8 in Color C)

• Row 1: Ch 7. Sc in 2nd ch from hook, hdc in next ch, dc in next 2 ch, hdc in next ch, sc in last ch. Ch 1, turn.
• Row 2: Sc in each st across (6 sts). Sl st in the last st to curve the leaf. FO, leaving a long tail for sewing.

Assembly

This is where your creativity comes in to arrange the pieces as desired. Refer to the image for placement. The key is to create a dense, overlapping floral motif.

1. Prepare Components: Lay out all your crocheted flowers and leaves.
2. Pearl Embellishment: Using your tapestry needle and matching thread, sew a pearl bead into the center of each flower. Securely knot on the back.
3. Central Motif: Begin by arranging the 3 Light Blue flowers and 2 Cream flowers to form the base of the central V-shape.
4. Attaching Leaves: Start sewing leaves around and between the flowers. Use the long tails from FO to sew the pieces together. Overlap them slightly to create depth.
   • Place a Medium Leaf (Color A) directly below the lowest central flower.
   • Add Small Leaves (Color A and C) and Medium Leaves (Color A and C) around the central cluster, mixing colors and sizes. For example, a Color B flower might be surrounded by Color A and C leaves.

7. Finishing Ends: At each end of the finished floral chain, create a small loop for attachment. Ch 15, then sl st back into the last stitched leaf to form a loop. Repeat on the other side. You can attach a jewelry clasp or thread a ribbon through these loops for ties.
8. Weave In Ends: Carefully weave in all remaining loose ends with your tapestry needle, ensuring all attachments are secure and neat.
