Materials

Instructions

General Notes: Work all pieces tightly to maintain shape. Weave in ends neatly as you go. Use matching thread to sew components and attach pearls.

I. Individual Components:

• Small Ruffled Flower (Make 3-4 in Light Pink, 2-3 in Off-White):
  • Start with mr. Ch 2. Work (1 dc, ch 2, sl st) into mr. Repeat 5-6 times for 5-6 petals. Pull tail to close mr. FO.
  • For larger pink flowers with a center: Make a small button-like base (mr, 6 sc, sl st to join, FO). Sew this to the center of a ruffled flower. Attach a small pearl bead to the center.
• Simple Petal Flower (Make 2-3 in Light Blue, 2-3 in Mint Green, 1-2 in Off-White):
  • Start with mr. Ch 1. Work (3 hdc, sl st) into mr. Repeat 4-5 times for 4-5 petals. Pull tail to close mr. FO.
• Small Leaves (Make 8-10 in Mint Green, 4-5 in Light Blue):
  • Ch 6. Sl st in 2nd ch from hook, sc in next ch, hdc in next ch, sc in next ch, sl st in last ch. Turn. Sl st along the back bumps of the initial chain to create a neat edge. FO.

II. Assembly:

• Main Necklace Base:
  • Using Off-White thread, Ch 150 (adjust for desired necklace length). Sl st into the 10th ch from the hook, forming a small loop for the clasp. Continue sl st back to the beginning of the chain. FO. This forms a foundation chain for attachment.
• Attaching the Branch and Bird:
  • Position the crocheted branch in the center of the main necklace base. Using brown thread, securely stitch it to the base.
