Facial Details

Using Yellow (E) yarn, embroider a small oval around the outer edge of each safety eye.
Using White (D) yarn, embroider a small horizontal dash on the outer corner of each eye, next to the yellow.

Using Dark Green (B): Ch 15, sl st to first ch to form a ring.
Rnd 1: Sc in each ch around (15)
FO, leaving a tail. Using Red (C) yarn, create a small bow and sew it to the top of the wreath. If desired, glue small red beads around the wreath and add glitter glue. Sew wreath to Bulbasaur’s chest.

Candy Cane (Red C & White D)

Using Red (C) and White (D) held together:
Row 1: Ch 16. Sc in 2nd ch from hook and across (15).
FO. Twist the two yarn strands slightly to create a candy cane effect. Gently bend the strip into a candy cane shape. You can use a small amount of fabric stiffener or wire inserted carefully if you want it to hold its shape rigidly. Sew one end to Bulbasaur’s hand.

Weave in all remaining ends. Your Christmas Bulbasaur is complete!
