Materials

Scarf (Green, Red Yarn)

Using Green yarn:

• Row 1: Ch 5, sc in 2nd ch from hook and across. (4 sc) Ch 1, turn.
• Row 2-3: Sc across. (4 sc) Ch 1, turn.

Change to Red yarn.

• Row 4-5: Sc across. (4 sc) Ch 1, turn.

Continue alternating 2 rows of Green and 2 rows of Red until the scarf reaches your desired length (approx. 20-25 rows in total to wrap around once). FO, weave in ends.

Assembly and Details

• 1. Attach Head to Body: Sew the head securely to the top of the body.
• 2. Attach Arms: Sew the arms to the sides of the upper red part of the body.
• 3. Attach Legs: Sew the legs to the bottom of the body. For a seamless look, sew them close together at the center.
• 4. Embroider Eyes: Using White yarn, embroider two oval shapes for the eyes on the head. Then, use Black yarn to outline the white eyes and create the signature web lines radiating from the center of the head.
• 5. Embroider Spider Symbol: Using Black yarn, embroider the spider symbol onto the red chest area of the body.
• 6. Dress Your Spider-Man: Place the Santa hat on his head. If desired, you can add a few stitches to secure it. Wrap the striped scarf around his neck.
