Materials

• Fingering weight yarn in White and Royal Blue
• Light brown/gold embroidery thread
• Dark blue embroidery thread

• Polyester fiberfill stuffing
• Keychain ring with chain

Instructions

Front Panel:

Using White yarn, chain 13.

Row 1: sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across, turn (12 sts).

Rows 2-10: ch 1, sc in each st across, turn (12 sts).

Row 11: ch 1, sc 6 in White, join Royal Blue yarn, sc 6 in Royal Blue, turn (12 sts).

Row 12: ch 1, sc 6 in Royal Blue, switch to White, sc 6 in White, turn (12 sts).

Rows 13-18: Repeat Rows 11 and 12 to maintain the split-color design. Fasten off and weave in all yarn ends.

Back Panel:

Using White yarn, chain 13.

Row 1: sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across, turn (12 sts).

Rows 2-18: ch 1, sc in each st across, turn (12 sts). Fasten off and weave in ends.

Side / Gusset Strip:

Using White yarn, chain 4.

Row 1: sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across, turn (3 sts).

Rows 2-60: ch 1, sc in each st across, turn (3 sts). (Wrap the strip around the edge of your panels to check the length, adding or removing rows if needed to fit perfectly around the perimeter). Fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing.

Embroidery and Details:

Before assembling, embroider the details on the front panel to hide knots on the inside.

Using white embroidery thread, stitch the stylized bird shape onto the top right Royal Blue section.

Using dark blue embroidery thread, stitch ‘Dove’ in a flowing script across the white portion of the front panel. Below it, stitch ‘Beauty Cream’ and ‘Bar’ in neat block letters.

Using light brown/gold embroidery thread, stitch the small signature bird icon in the center of the white section next to the brand name.

Assembly:

Align the front panel with the side strip. Using your tapestry needle and the long yarn tail, whipstitch the side strip around the edges of the front panel.

Align the back panel to the other side of the strip and whipstitch them together, leaving a small opening for stuffing.

Stuff the soap bar firmly with polyester fiberfill, shaping it into a neat rectangular prism.

Sew the opening completely closed and weave in all loose ends securely.

Attach your keychain ring to the top center corner of the Royal Blue section using a jump ring or yarn loop.
