Instructions

Head and Body: Worked in one continuous piece with orange yarn. Row 1: Work 6 sc in a MR (6). Row 2: 6 inc (12). Row 3: (1 sc, inc) x 6 (18). Row 4: (2 sc, inc) x 6 (24). Rows 5-9: Sc in each st around (24). Place safety eyes between rounds 7 and 8, leaving 5 stitches between them. Row 10: (2 sc, dec) x 6 (18). Row 11: (1 sc, dec) x 6 (12). Stuff the head firmly. Row 12: (1 sc, inc) x 6 (18). Rows 13-15: Sc in each st around (18). Row 16: (1 sc, dec) x 6 (12). Stuff the body. Row 17: 6 dec (6). Fasten off, leaving a tail to sew closed.

Beak: Using yellow yarn. Row 1: Work 4 sc in a MR. Fasten off, leaving a tail. Sew beak centrally between the eyes.
