Halloween Crochet Bag Jack-o’-Lantern

Materials Needed:

• Yarn in black, orange, green, and brown
• Crochet hook size G (4.0 mm)
• Tapestry needle
• Scissors
• Stitch markers
• Bag handles or straps (optional)

Bag Body:

1. Base:
   • With black yarn, ch 31.
   • Row 1: Sc in the second ch from hook and across (30 sc). Ch 1, turn.
   • Rows 2-50: Sc in each st across. Ch 1, turn.
   • Fold in half and sc around the edges to form a rectangular base. Fasten off.
2. Sides:

   • For small pumpkins, follow the face details pattern but make smaller shapes.
   • For leaves, with green yarn, ch 7.
     • Row 1: Sc in the second ch from hook and across (6 sc). Ch 1, turn.
     • Rows 2-5: Sc in each st across. Ch 1, turn.
     • Fasten off and shape into a leaf form.

Finishing:

• Attach handles or straps if desired.
• Add a zipper or button closure to secure the bag.
