Instructions

Popcorn Stitch (PC) Tutorial: Work 5 dc into the indicated stitch/space. Remove hook from loop. Insert hook into the first dc of the 5-dc group. Re-insert hook into the dropped loop. Yarn over and pull through both loops on hook to close the popcorn. Ch 1 to secure.

Brim (with Yarn A – Dark Green)

Row 1: Ch 9. Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across. (8 sc)
Rows 2-70: Ch 1, turn. Sc in BLO of each st across. (8 sc) Adjust number of rows for desired head circumference (approx. 20-22 inches when slightly stretched).
Join the ends of the brim with a row of sl st to form a circle. Do not break yarn.

Hat Body

Work in joined rounds. At the end of each round, sl st to the first st/ch-sp and join new color if instructed.
