Crochet Pattern: How to Crochet a Sporty Iraq Football Jersey Crop Top

Materials

• Medium weight (Category 4) acrylic yarn in Forest Green, Red, White, and Black

Instructions

Size Note: This pattern is written for a standard Women’s Small/Medium. You can easily adjust the width by altering the foundation chain of the ribbing or the body.

Step 1: Bottom Ribbing
Using your 4.0 mm hook and Forest Green yarn:
1. Ch 16.
2. Row 1: Sc in second ch from hook and in each ch across. Turn. (15 sts)
3. Row 2: Ch 1, sc in blo of each st across. Turn.
4. Repeat Row 2 until the band measures approximately 28 inches unstretched (or fits comfortably around your high waist).
5. Join the ends with sl st to form a ring, or keep flat if you prefer to sew seams later.

Step 2: Main Body
Switch to the 4.5 mm hook and continue with Forest Green yarn along the long edge of the ribbing:
