Materials

• Fingering weight yarn in Medium Blue (band), Navy Blue (blueberries), and Olive Green (leaves)
• 2.0 mm crochet hook (US size B/1)
• Fiberfill stuffing
• 1 small wooden bead (approx. 8mm)
• Tapestry needle
• Scissors

Abbreviations

• ch – chain
• st(s) – stitch(es)
• sc – single crochet
• inc – increase (2 sc in one stitch)
• dec – decrease (sc 2 together)
• hdc – half double crochet
• sl st – slip stitch

Instructions

Bracelet Band:

Using Medium Blue yarn, chain 51 (or a chain long enough to fit snugly around your wrist, minus one inch).

Row 1: Sc in the 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across, turn. (50 sts)

Row 2-3: Ch 1, sc in each st across, turn.

At the end of Row 3, do not fasten off. To make the button loop: Ch 6 (adjust based on your bead size), sl st into the starting corner of the band to create a secure loop. Fasten off and weave in ends. Sew the wooden bead securely to the opposite end of the band.

Blueberries (Make 4):

Using Navy Blue yarn.

Rnd 1: 6 sc in a magic ring. (6)

Rnd 2: [inc] x 6. (12)

Rnd 3: [sc, inc] x 6. (18)

Rnd 4-6: Sc in each st around. (18)

Rnd 7: [sc, dec] x 6. (12)

Stuff the blueberry firmly with fiberfill.

Rnd 8: [dec] x 6. (6)

To create the textured crown of the blueberry: Working in the front loops only of the remaining stitches, [sl st in the next st, ch 2, sl st in the same st] 6 times. Fasten off, leaving a long tail for assembly.

Leaves (Make 8 – 2 for each blueberry):

Using Olive Green yarn, chain 5.

Row 1: Sl st in the 2nd ch from hook, sc in the next ch, hdc in the next ch, (sc, sl st) in the last ch. Rotate to work along the opposite side of the foundation chain: sc in the next ch, hdc in the next ch, sl st in the last ch. Fasten off, leaving a tail for sewing.

Assembly:

First, sew two green leaves to the top (magic ring end) of each Navy Blue blueberry. Next, space the four completed blueberries evenly along the center of the Medium Blue band. Securely sew each berry to the band using the yarn tails. Weave in all loose ends to finish your bracelet!
